The application process usually takes how long for out of state applicants?

Are there assignments such as non municipal cities where state police are the primary units that respond?

Where's the academy, live in and only state police cadets attend?

Does each officer get assigned a unit/take home?

Just a few months providing everything runs smoothly.

Yes.

Santa Fe, it is live in. It does provide training for other agencies, but not together.

Does each officer get assigned a unit/take home?

Yes.
