Good morning everybody
I am an applicant for cbp and I applied in may 2020 . The process was a breeze until i hit a solid wall with the polygraph in Newark nj . Its been 7 months and i haven't heard anything from cad about my polygraph and I'm starting to lose hope.
I happen to have an active application with the us Capitol police and its moving quickly. Should I take it and when cbp calls leave uscp to go to cbp . I'm really wanting cbp as its my dream job but I have no foothold in law enforcement. I'm a TSA officer

Never put all your eggs in one basket. I say first come, first serve. Grab what you can get in these rough times. Also checkout federal forums instead of here which us mostly local depts.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, join the party. I applied March of 2019, completed 50% of the process within 6 weeks and awaiting polygraph. It has been 2 years and I have not been contacted to continue the process in any capacity. I'd suggest forgetting you applied.

I believe you. I have a friend who applied in Feb 2019 and just got his polygraph recently. your time will come brother.
Cbp is my dream job but I want to enter law enforcement NOW. So I should accept uscp if their process is not as long .
