Been thinking about dispatching part time at my local department this summer, while waiting for the academy anyone have experience doing this? If so will a dispatch cert help get a job?

Definitely do it, I dispatched for my PD in 1999. many other cops here also dispatched. Great way to get your foot in the door and get to know the job a little better.Ivan, did you see the sun rise this morningsigpic?Comment
