Anyone else dying to know how they did on the oral board for Metro? This is going to be a long 2-3 weeks.

I feel I did really well, but I won't really feel good until I get that letter/phone call. Anyone else in the same boat?

Ya Im waiting to hear back as well I thinkl I did alright. There were a few guys that made it to the oral you could tell there was no way they were gettin the job. There was alot of people there for that test man, more out of state than anything

I was surprised at how many out-of-staters there were. Some of the locals, but by no means all, looked as if they just showed up on a whim. It was if they saw the recruitment poster at the bus stop that very morning and decided, "what the heck, I'm gonna test to be a cop today!" Some interesting characters, indeed.

Everyone in my interview group looked sharp and were good people, so I didn't see any inappropriately dressed applicants. There was even an NFL linebacker there. Pretty cool.

One of the sergeants said they had the least amount of failures on the written test ever, so I don't know what that means as far as how many people are making it through to the BI phase...

yeah hopefully the background goes well, it's tough Im pretty squared away. But when you start looking back at the dumb crap you did when you were young it sucks. Anyway just venting over here

I have always done the same thing. I had a detective in Florida laugh at me when I started confessing the "terrible" things I had done in my life!!

I got the call today at lunch. Passed the oral and ranked #6 overall.

Going in for psych/BI/poly on 11 & 12 June. Anyone else get a call? The detective said she didn't know the exact number who made it through, but thought it to be somewhere in the 300 range.

Now the waiting begins... again.

Considering the number of people they are looking to hire, I'd imagine you will be just fine. Do you realize how many people you beat out to make it to #41?

It is a very respectable ranking.

I got a call last week, I'll be there from June 4th to the 8th. Is anyone else staying there that long? And did anyone also get thier medical exam scheduled for the same week as the background interview, polygraph, and psych eval?

Im there from the 4th to the 6th, Im getting everything done except the medical.
