Conditional Offer for LVMPD Academy

Just want to let you all know that I received my conditional offer today for the November Academy. I tested last February. For those still in the waiting process just hang in there. It's a test of patience if anything else. And remember, no news is good news. Best of luck to you all.

Have you done your med test yet? I did mine on Thursday, so now I am just hoping they don't find some ailment I have that I'm not aware of. If not I'll be in your class. The only thing I know for sure is that I don't have TB!!! It's been 48 hours and no mutation. Good Luck to you and I hope to be meeting you soon!

Yes I did take my med test and no TB for me either. I received a call from LVMPD two days later with a conditional offer. Its the weekend so maybe they'll call you early next week.

Doing a ride-along this weekend. Looking forward to it. This will be my 4th over the last 7-8 months. Always interesting. Still waiting for final word on the medical. I guess the lab stuff takes a week or two to get back. I am most excited for Halloween this year as it means that October is over! I hope to be in Academy for Thanksgiving!
