    Police Officer

    The Glenwood
    Police Department


    is accepting applications for two police officer positions; IA certified preferred; non-certified accepted. Apply at any Iowa Work-Force Center beginning 5-13-09. Applications taken until positions are filled. Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must pass standardized written, physical agility, psychological and physical examination testing as well as a background investigation. This position includes full benefits. Glenwood Police Department is an EOE.
    Some people were just dropped on their heads as children more than the rest of us!

            If your looking to get your foot in the door you may want to look west over the next few months. After tonight's election several incumbents at least in the Central and Western part of the state were not re-elected.
            Some people were just dropped on their heads as children more than the rest of us!
