If your looking that far West you should look at Ashland they are hiring again. They are close to Omaha too. If all you want is to get certified and get some street experience. They seem to hire and certify a lot of people and get some good calls every now and then. We may be adding a person soon, but we only hire certified officers.Some people were just dropped on their heads as children more than the rest of us! -

I know Mitchell, NE has had some turn over, small towns in the area share part time officers.
There are some government forgivness of student loans for officers who set up in rural communities which can make the pay seem better.Comment
