Hi,

I work for the Atlanta Police and I'm trying to put toegther some info about comparable cities and their current benefit packages, as Atlanta is trying to reduce our pensions to balance their budget.

Can anyone tell me if KCPD currently has annual raises and if they have been given every year..say over the last 11 years?

KCPD has not had raises (like many surrounding agencies) in the last 3, going on 4 years. Unlike most agencies, they do have "perks" they haven't taken away yet such as "E Days" or Extra days off. They can do a PT test every 6 months to get 2 days off as well as some other stuff they haven't cut yet due to budget problems. I suppose it's not THAT bad yet.
