I live about 12 miles southeast of the Evil Empire. The City of Minneapolis is even more of a crime ridden sch!thole than other times in the recent past. Avoid the City of Minneapolis at all costs. Avoid the Light Rail Transit in BOTH Murderapolis and the Saintly City.

What exactly are you looking to do in the area? When you say Minneapolis, are you actually referring to the Sch!tty of Minneapolis, specifically, or the State of Minnesota, in general?

If you must go there, stay north of 53rd Ave N and south of W 62nd St. Stay west of France Ave and east of the Mississippi River.

I just spent a very pleasant day in Minnesota, albeit nowhere near Minneapolis. I was dropping off my son and moving on, so I did not spend much time, but northern Minnesota is far more cool than I thought it would be. I will spend more time when I pick him up.

Thank you for the feedback. After doing some research we’ll be on the northeast side of the city generally close to where you said to stay near.

I work for an agency that borders Minneapolis. I would suggest avoiding Minneapolis as much as possible. Stick to Champlin maple grove, Plymouth, St. Louis park, Edina, Minnetonka (and most the cities west of it with the lakes, and bloomington if you’re trying to stay within Hennepin county.

I try to avoid Minneapolis while off duty as much as possible.
