  • Question

A lady at my work went shopping in uptown and parked in a doctors parking lot or something like that. When she came back from shopping their was a boot on her car, and a guy with a ticket. He didn't have on a uniform. The only way she was getting the boot off the car is if she paid him on the spot. So she paid him with a credit card. Since it wasnt from the city, is that legal?
Could she have paid with a check and then canceled it right way?

yeah, she knows that she shouldn't of parked there.......... she paid him $150 dollars

    thanks

Yep, private property. Now is a civil problem not a criminal one.
