I just read this from an article here on O.Com about the infamous Cleveland car chase:

Safety director Michael McGrath said Friday that 104 of the 277 Cleveland officers on duty that night were involved in the chase at some point. McGinty said the chase covered 20 miles over 23 minutes and reached speeds of 110 mph.

Cleveland has 396,000 people while Mpls has reached a little over 400,000. Cleveland has almost 1500 sworn while Mpls has 800.

I know the crime in Cleveland is worse than Mpls but it isn't almost double the staffing worse.

With the sky high taxes in Mpls, the citizens should demand more cops. Just think of how nice it would be to have 277 officers on duty on a night shift in the city of lakes?
