According to HR test emails should be sent out today. Looking for two officers initially and using the test to fill those spots as well as to establish an eligibility list.

No idea on how many apps received. I do know from my contact it's looking like they want three officers off the bat.

I tested tonight, the Chief briefed everyone that there were over 250 people testing between today and Thursday and expected to narrow the field to 50, then to under 20 before hiring 3. HR said to expect results of test by mid next week.

I take the exam tomorrow, but from the email they said its the Entry Level Police Officer Test (PO-EL 202-NC). So, it has the facial recognition, verbal/reading comprehension, situation judgement/problem solving, etc. Nothing too difficult, its just scoring high enough to move on.

the recognition pictures on St.Paul's test were a joke. There's no way anyone could distinguish those pictures apart.

Should hear back by Tues or Wed whether we move on.

I had a bad experience w/ St Paul PD's facial recognition (which I thought was a joke). This test was actually applicable and I wasn't bothered by it.

I got my e-mail today, cut off for moving on to the first phase of interviews is 85/100. Should be getting second e-mail with interview information.
