The Met Council HR department moves very slow usually, nevermind that they just fired their 2 primary HR people and had to hire new ones. Be parient - The department is getting set to make 5 Police Officer job offers for people who applied over 8 months ago.

Called and they said the positions haven't been filled yet. Its still "On-going."

They sent out an email a while back to applicants that applied to respond the the email that they were still interested. That was months ago.

When I went through the process it took at least 8 months from start to finish before they actually hired candidates.

I don't think they even interviewed yet and its been at least 4 months?

They've been slow due to the hiring of full time officers. I'm sure when they are done with that they'll move on to cso.

The Dept. just hired 5 new officers and organized a specialized new unit. The CSO positions were lower on the list in the recent months, however they are looking to move forward with it soon.

Not to worry, everyone who submitted an application should be hearing something in the near future.
