I worked with the chief of plow town at the state fair...they are planning on one hire this will bring them up to 25 officers. I would say that they are a good department but it is kinda slow there call wise. but you can go out and hit it hard on traffic and find your own thingsHappy to be here proud to serve

I don't know if it is true or not, but I heard that, as part of the testing process in Farmington, they run applicants through some sort of tactical course using Simunition rounds. Just a rumor I heard, but if it is true, at least it is more fun that writing essays or taking psych personality tests.Comment

It is so funny how every department has a different test, different interview, and the only thing that seems relatively consistent is the PT test.Comment

Got my "thanks but no thanks" letter yesterday, they said there were a little over 200 apps, I'm guessing they weeded out the "new guys" with no previous LE time pretty fast... starting to wonder whether it's even worth trying, I stopped counting how many "better luck next time" letters I've gotten...
Oh well, I refuse to give up - just getting discouraged.
