South Lake Minnetonka PD

What does anyone know about this agency? Is it a good place to work? I know they have a nice looking PD, but how busy are they, is there any advancement potential? How are the bosses etc?

Yes, I was a reserve in their neighboring dept Deephaven for two years. They are a pretty young department with alot of proactive cops. They are fairly busy but sometimes very slow. The summer months are definately their best time with being on the lake. They patrol 4 cities Excelsior, Shorewood, Greenwood, and Tonka Bay. Excelsior and Shorewood are where alot of time is spent. The area is combined wealthy and middle class. I would say depending on where your comming from it would be a good dept. The only SGT i knew there retired about year and half ago.
