      I would be very interested to see how much they really cost. Plus you can't really sell those things once your done with them. What about all the old equipment you have? Cool idea, but there is a lot of stuff over looked here.

        .
        Great idea.

        Wonder if it'd sell.

        And if they do start selling them, can they keep up production with demand?

        And if they are going to repair them for warranty and don't want to pay to have it done and thus do it in house instead, can they keep up in a timely fashion?

        .

          I love the seats that are designed to fit a duty belt. I wish the CV's had this feature!

            They are nice looking, the problem now is that they are diesel motors and that costs $$$. They said that cities could run there squads till 150k miles then turn them in and they would refit them or something.

              Here's their website;

              http://www.carbonmotors.com/

              It's supposed to have a 250k mile lifespan before it will need refurbishment. It's actually a pretty amazing car.

                    Ah, I did not know! Now only if I could convince my agency to get them!

                        I know one agency that go them. The procopper seats are supposedly beter in a crash and better for your back with your duty belt on. They made the their pitch to the union as a safety issue and got them.

                              Is there any serious reporting on Carbon Motors out there? Everything I've seen looks like public relations handout.
                              With the economy in its current state, I expect to see the Carbon concept car on eBay rather than a real one on the street.
