  • Mass Corrections...

Hi, I was curious is the correction exam held annually every year in Mass? I am hoping to take the exam next year. Thankfully turned down interviewing for corrections in my state of CT, with the mess going on here. With the fiancée almost done with nursing school we are looking to get out of this state.

Any advice to prep for the exam? Also would holding a state job in Mass carry any weight into the hiring process? Appreciate the feedback have a good one.

Good move, they don't hold peace officer status in CT

I know this thread is 8 months old, but I would advise you to look on masscops.com. I know this section of Officer.com is dead, as most people go to that website I listed. To answer your question, they offer the test as needed. However, lately it has been annually. The Mass DOC is over 3,000 officers, they constantly hire.

Search mass civil service to see when the next exam date is.
