Howard County Police

Hey I was just wondering if getting into Howard County as an officer was a diff process? Also what is the polygraph like as I have never taken one. I live in NYC and NYPD pay just will not cut it.

I was with HoCoPo, now in NNJ with the feds...I think that if you meet the standards, have a good background, and are competitive anywhere else, you have a great chance. They have a fair amount of officers that came from other agencies, including at least one from NYPD. There are pros and cons to all the agencies around the Balt./Wash. area, but the guys I keep in touch with at the dept. seem to be happy.
