When I worked Patrol, I was in 1. Only reason it was ruled a departmental because my co-worker (not a partner) was "supposedly injured." I disagree with the whole thing, but I was young. They didnt replace the patrol car, as there was no damage, but I still got a letter. I've seen a brand new car (about 32 miles on the odometer) make it from the District to about a mile and a half down the road before the operator flipped it on its roof. The totalled it out, and we EVENTUALLY got a new one.
