I'm curious as to whether there are any Howard County officers who have been through the process relatively recently and can recall how quickly the process gets started after turning in the PHQ?

From what I have heard there background process is VERY extensive and takes a rather long time. I would think you are easily looking at the longer end of a 5-6 month process.

Well I suppose I've passed the initial screening cause I got the call for my Oral Interview next week!

I know all of you are on the edge of your seats in anticipation for the next update in my process.....

Anyway, the oral interview didn't go too badly. At least they scheduled me for my poly so hopefully I didn't completely screw up! Poly is next week, so here's to hoping my active mind can relax for a few hours..

Terp22, I'm in the process for the January 2008 Academy - probably a bit early for it, but because of scheduling reasons, I'm not able to go in for July 2007. Speaking of which, go Terps! (2004 Grad)
