        immensely harder. if you are under 30 and cant bench at least 125% of your weight, run the 1.5 under 13.25, do 50 push ups, and 50 sit ups, you will probably be in remedial for at least 3 months.

              • Well .. packet is being sent off to the LT for review .. hopefully I should get some good news soon .. and jvegas, I'm confused. The female PT instructor told us that it was the same initial agility to the same standards on the first day of the academy

                      same PT test, yes, but higher standards. they use the coopers test.

                      • What is your bi weekly paycheck while in the academy and first starting out? I'm trying to find apartments that i'll be able to afford. I heard that it's around $1100 every other week.

                          that sounds right, but it depends on which health care plan you choose, taxes, whether or not you join the FOP (youre stupid not to), etc... your base pay is 40k minus the 1.95% pay cut.

                              the FOP is the union. Fraternal Order of Police.

                              FOP3.org is for BPD.
