Montgomery Uniforms

I hear that MCPD is switching from the old tan to all black uniforms this summer (good timing with the heat!). Just wondering what officers think about this. Any idea what kind of uniforms they will be? Will the external vests continue to be worn?

i don't work for montgomery county, but i did grow up here and i have to admit that i have always thought that their tan uniforms are pretty sharp looking. i do like all black too, but it is going to take some getting used to!!!!

they r getting the all black uniforms. they will be BDU style. they are also suppose to be putting the shoulder patch on both sides. all their equipment will stay the same. if u noticed all the brass is wearing the uniform at headquarters. and every now and then u can see some wear it when they talk to the media.
