You can be hit with Barred on private property? As long as I've been working we've only had OWI, and no insurance for pvt property.

My bad, I looked it up and under the basic driving suspended code it has to be on the "highways of the state" (321.218). However, there are several different reasons for suspending, revoking, or barring a person's license. Each of these reasons carry different restrictions. While a violation of 321.218 does not apply to private property, 321j.21 does.

I have never had this come up while working, but I could see it happening.

Can you be charged with Driving Under Suspension on private properties? Like a golf course, your house, etc.? Just wondering thanks.

No, you can be charged with Driving While Barred under 561 but not DUS or NDL.

If I recall correctly, you can be charged with OMVLUS while on private property. I know you can be charged with OWI and no insurance on private property.
