Grant Help?

Our department is in need of some new interview/interrogation room equipment... "No money," is the reason I've gotten. After several depositions, I'm always asked if there was any video of the interview or interrogation. I'd love to just blam it on the defense attorney's desk, but he has to settle for a 5 page narrative instead.

Does anyone know of any grants out there that are comming up for us to apply?

I would check with your local Wal-Mart. We don't have one in the city I work but there are two, 15 and 30 miles away. We have applied and recieved grants from those stores for like 500-1000 dollars and I "think" they give money out fairly frequently.

Wife works at Wally World-----------they do a lot of grants to public safety....... there should be one in your county....I think that is the "area" they use for granting money.

Thanks a ton. We don't have one in our county, but we help the area with our K-9 unit and stuff, so it may not be a problem. Guess I never thought of Wally World...
