IMPD vs ISP

Hello everyone I was wanting to get some insight on the IMPD and ISP, the morale of the departments, advancement opportunities, and do advance degrees help with promotions, and patrol shifts?

I currently have a bachelors degree and finishing my last semester for MBA and going to finally follow my interests in law enforcement. Just wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has information or any other department that is recommended, thank you all for your time!
