Can someone tell me what is happening with the IMPD reserve program ? I heard that they canceled the reserve last reserve class? Is that true?

Looks like it’s been put out to sea to drift for a bit. Looks like a bunch of retirees working details and driving take home cars for off duty employment.

Id do it in a heartbeat but there is nothing anymore. Website gone, nothing from HR, zip.

They are looking to have a reserve class maybe later this year.

Breaking News - They're having a written exam next week Aug 11/12/13, I think, at the Training Academy for Reserves.

There was (maybe still is) a GovernmentJobs listing for the position. If you're interested, get in on it.
