Do you have a take home car? All Sworn Patrolmen have option of take homes.

If so, are there restrictions on them. Must live in County. State wide use. Are expected to render aid and notify proper jurisdiction if outside the city limits. Must have radio and firearm at all times while off duty if utilizing the car.

What department you with? CPD

1) Yes and yes there are restrictions

Check with your tax accountant about IRS problems with personal use of Govt. vehicle. They have been known to consider that a "Benefit" and say you owe taxes on it.
