anyone of you in the 6th process attend the interview tutoring. I have applied at other dpts and failed the interview. I've also passed others so i think im not that strong at interviewing. The interivew tutoring session for the 7th is this saturday. Im scheduled to work and struggling to get coverage since i was denied pto for the day. If i cant go am i missing out on some inside vital info or is it basic what we want to hear, what to expect. Not looking or seeking inside info, but want to know if I cant make it am i screwed?

Actually i was unable to attend the interview session, ( even though I wanted to).

This has plenty of tips for the oral interview if you can't make, as well as many other answers and useful info, because I KNOW you have a million questions.

I didn't make it to the interview and I passed. You are not definitely or indefinitely screwed. Good luck man.

Anyone else in the 6th process in agony? I have given a lot of nasty habits up lately to get in better shape. I am struggling with the distance run, as I have never been a good runner. I look forward to the next letter in the mail saying "congratulations" ;D We shall see! good luck to you all!

IMPD 6th Process

Hey all, maybe I'll see some of you in about a month and a half in an IMPD uniform.

I'm pretty happy I've made it this far - first time through the process. I got out of the Army last October and work as a C/O in Plainfield right now. I've been tracking this board for about a week now and figured it might be a good thing to introduce myself (in a way).

I can see we're all waiting on these next letters from the merit board - I wasn't sure what to think for a minute there. I did my final evals on the 1st and it had been a while. Either way, I'm waiting on pins and needles right now, like I'm sure the rest of you are. I'm excited but nervous.

Good luck though, hopefully we all make it.

I feel very blessed. It is my first time around in any process, but I am no stranger to researching other departments. By agony I meant basically the "nail-biting" stage, as someone else stated. Haha but at times the excitement and suspense is agonizing in a sense!!
