IMPD 7th applicant process

Hello all, I am brand new to this site and somewhat new to law enforcement. My fiance is in law enforcement so I have been around it, but I myself am just now is going to try it. I just received my letter yesterday for IMPD and I test on March 14th at 0900.

IMPD Test

Does anyone have any advice for the IMPD test and how to study for it or what to expect? This will be my first police test so I am just hoping that I pass it.

They'll give you two hours to study. Utilize it! I mean really study the pictures, faces, details, etc. Two hours is more than enough to really get a handle on all the information.

I'll be going to the academy tomorrow for traffic court. I'll try to get you the name of the hotel that is about 15 blocks away. It isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either. There are also a couple hotels in Beech Grove (southeast side) that are right off I-465 that will be a short drive to the testing site.
