Excise hiring process 2008

Anyone taking the written test on Oct.4 or 11th. I am testing on the 4th at 10am. I thought for sure after the Sept.15 deadline for resumes, there would be a excise thread.I have read all the past Excise threads but would like some info on how many are they looking to hire? Beer Cop where are you???

good luck guys. they had about 1100 apply and they are only looking at 4-5 positions because of the economic state we are all in.

I am going to be there the 4th for the 10am (9am My time, CST). Probably staying at the Marriott Hotel Downtown or the Residence Inn Downtown. Maybe a few of us can meet up for breakfast or something before.

I'm in for the 11th... which isn't good. I am suppose to work that day for my department... I wonder if I call ISEP they will let me come to the test on the 4th.

I heard the written test was like taking the SAT. I've been told it's the hardest LE test they've taken. What's your feedback Pirate, you've been there.
