  • Politician Traffic Stop on Chicago's West Side

Did anyone hear about this story? One of our congressmen was stopped on the west side and now is claiming racial profiling. If anyone is familiar with where the traffic stop was done, then you can see how this claim is ridiculous.

I didn't know you couldn't drive on the wrong side of the road. Whoever heard of such a thing? I'm a congressman dang it! Racial profiling at Douglas and Kedzie? Come on, the only way it could be racial profiling in that area is to pull over someone who is not black for being in a black neighborhood. This city is becoming ridiculous.

Yes, this City is ridiculous, and it's not getting any better. As a matter of fact, it's only going to get worse. As a society, we are already too far gone in terms of this political correctness / racial profiling nonsense. The only racist involved in that traffic stop was Danny Davis himself. Period. Kudos to the officers who wrote him the citation(s).

At some point, people need to start becoming accountable for their own actions, and to stop blaming race for all of their problems. It's really getting old.

I saw this on television last week, and the funny thing is, he claims this was racism, yet he never said the officers did ANYTHING racist. Most people claim an officer said or did something racist. What we have here is an ignorant, angry politician who is upset that he couldn't influence his way out of a traffic citation. So, instead, he's going to use his media access to wrongly accuse good people of doing a bad job. Typical.
