Just emailed my investigator hopefully I hear something from him when did you take your poly graph?

Last Friday he called saying everything looked good and to let him know when I get the email for FPT. Not sure when I. February

Maybe my investigator will reach back out this week haven’t heard from since the beginning of January. When did he he reach out to about that and did he mention when specifically in February

I’ve currently finished up some board interviews with a few suburban departments so just kind of going with the flow. Hmm I think I’ve heard of that motto did the navy get from the army or did my sergeant lie to me and steal that motto from the navy haha

HURRY UP AND WAIT.

Relax man! You’re going to kill yourself looking for updates so quickly. Unlike us suburban folks, where the process is typically 2-6 months or a phone call then boom done everything in 2 weeks, you’ll be waiting awhile.

Let everything come when they do. Until then, I’d keeping applying and testing elsewhere, it gets your mind off of CPD completely.

my CPD BI emailed me saying he is going to review my file today and will reach out if he needs anything else from me.

So my buddy on CPD did the out-of-state process because he was stationed in San Diego. They do try to accommodate you. When he passed his background he flew in and did a bunch of things at once. (HR stuff at HQ, Poly & Background at Kentech) I believe he flew in 3 times total.

Just called HR I’ve been assigned a CPD investigator I left him a voicemail but the lady mentioned he won’t be in the office till tomorrow so

I believe someone posted the recruiter email a page back it should be [email protected]. They might be more helpful with that and who knows maybe they'll work something out with you. I don't know if you have family here or anything but do your research and consider everything before moving that far for this job. Good luck.

Well I did hear they are recruiting folks now from out of state for CPD so you would think they would make the process easier but I guess not huh? Call and speak with someone in HR and asked them about that.

Not really and they really need to seriously rethink that. Maybe if enough of you mention that to recruiting just maybe they will start thinking outside of the box because we are going to get seriously hurt out here if they don't hire.

Do you know how many times I would have to fly out to Chicago to take the tests? I'm from LA, so it'd be very time consuming.
