Just because I rub shoulders with many higher-ups, doesn't mean I'm snitching. Snitching would be based off personal gains. I have nothing to gain or lose since I CURRENTLY work for a PD. The amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism that comes from the aforementioned department is well known across neighboring agencies.

I'm seriously concerned how a few selected individuals are police officers within this forum.

I been on here for quite some time now and most of the candidates on here could probably attest that we all do a pretty good job keeping it positive on here and helping candidates navigate the hiring process as far as any questions that they may have and what to expect and prepare for. It's a great forum and I came here as a candidate too. I don't want to ruin that for the other candidates. Who you know or whatever means absolutely nothing to me.

You're not going to get the type of response that you're expecting because I am a professional and I am a police officer. If we are truly brothers and sisters to you than I ask you put aside our differences and disagreements and let's start this conversation over. has anyone heard about being in the October class? How much time in advance do they offer you a letter. I have heard of some people getting it couple day before starting.

There will be 2 more classes with a total of 70 people split between the two (last I heard) metro starts I believe 9/28. CPD classes usually start around the 16-19. If you are waiting for a call expect it to be the first week of October

A couple high ranking officers told me that according to the consent Decree CPD has to continue to hire more officers. Is that true or are we not going to hear of another written test until 2022

Squad policing will need more sergeants thus pulling from PO’s. Plus the usual 200-400 retirements each year they will need to keep up with attrition.

Same thing happened to me found it in my spam after the 24hour mark looks like there are going to be a lot of people in our boat I called and left a voicemail after I replied via email and let them know it was in my spam.

Called HR last week. They said my file is still pending after almost a year and a half post polygraph. They don’t give much info but something is something.
