  • General question

With not being a sworn officer yet, are you allowed to carry in other states? What are the restrictions? I was having a conversation with a friend and neither of us knew the answer. Thanks

Easiest way to answer this is to do a Wikipedia search of "Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act".

Sworn Officer’s and qualified Retired Officer’s can carry any where in the country. The senate act is referred to as HR218 I believe.

If your not sworn do you have a CC? If so there’s clear literature regarding where you can and can’t carry depending upon which state issued the license

I understand how the CC works that's why I'm asking how being sworn works but I already have my answer.
