Boone County Sheriff's Dept. hiring?

I noticed in the Tribune the Boone County Sheriff's dept. is hiring for the position of Deputy Sheriff. Anyone here work for them and/or know if they start on the road or in the jails?

In the past, when Boone County wanted Corrections Officers, that's what they specified in the ad.
