    Don't worry, we'll set you up with a south side/ south sub cheat sheet so you can fake your way through. Lesson #1, don't wear any Cubs gear until after you're off probation...then you'l be safe if you want to support said losing team.

    Good luck to all of you who apply. Haven't worked the southside of town lately, but when I did the Alsip guys I ran into were always good to go and, overall, happy with Alsip.

    Know landmarks, important places and what the town borders.

    He said you don't need juice to get hired at Alsip it's all based on your ability , he even asked where everyone was from I think I was the only one from DuPage County everyone was from Mt greenwood oak lawn cal city orland park Tinley park Burbank maybe I'm paranoid but I felt out of place, Interesting to see what happens can't wait

    Waited 2 hours in line today , first time I ever heard a chief use te word "juice" talking to applicants I hope this one can work out for me.

    Then why advertise at the orientation and test that the top 10 will go straight to background, but there are people I know who were never contacted and they are top 10 . . . I understand these processes are one big circus, but don't lie flat out to people like that at the test.

    Last time they limited it to 200 apps... I didn't see anything saying that they were limiting them this time. I do know that for the last list they needed 1 or 2 on the street asap, which is why they did the certs, due to some injuries in the dept
