  • Skill-Based Component During Testing Process?

Hey, so the next department I plan on testing with said they are adding a "skill-based component" with the written test this year. The ad is not out yet, so I'm just wondering if anybody has heard of this before and knows what it is. Are they referring to the POWER test?Screen Shot 2016-06-22 at 7.27.54 PM.png

I'm guessing the lack of response means nobody else knows either...

IMO I doubt they are not referring to anything to do with the POWER test. They said they are adding a skill based component, so I'm guessing they are adding another part to the written test, that they consider "skilled based". If they were having the written test and power test the same day (which is stupid but I've done it before) then they would just say so, no point in keeping that a secret.

This is also from the police and fire commission minutes though; the ad is not out yet.
