  • Palatine, IL Testing 2015

Since they tested last year I'm assuming they burned through their list.

Anyone know if they are still hiring or just forming a new list? edit: They do, 1 immediately, 1-3 in coming year.

What test do they plan to use?

They have a vision requirement of "Vision 20-40 both eyes corrected/uncorrected", does that mean your vision can't be worse then 20-40 either corrected or uncorrected or does it mean you need to be able to get 20-40 at least corrected?

I believe it's a bachelors degree only acceptance, so the application rate will be a tad lower.

I am gonna find out if you need a 4 year degree even if you're already certified LE

I'm pretty sure the ad on the blue line says that's what they require. Unless they end up changing it

Correct but I wanted to see if that was general requirement of just for anyone without LE or Military experience. Found out that its requirement for anyone applying regardless of experience.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. But oh well. The search goes on.
