  • CPD2010, if you don't mind me asking, what type of employment info did they want? Were your employment verification letters enough?

    • Did anyone take the SBSA/POWER on the 28th of September and still got no word or have gotten notification of pass? I'm starting to get worried.

      • I had my written test on Sep 22,2014 and still have not heard anything back whether I passed or not. I am assuming this is a normal wait period lol

        • Hopefully the process picks up soon, maybe it just slowed down due to the sudden volume of BP turn ins. I turn mine in in soon. Anyone know how long the process takes? I might have to get a ride there and I don't really want my ride sitting in the car for 4 hours :/

The CTA would be the most logical option.

                  • Wow I've luckily been getting notified of me passing ever step so far within a few days and having my next step already scheduled for me. I hope this continues!

I think the card is free to get. Pre-load it with $10 and you'll be fine.
Thanks man appreciate it, I guess it's better than wasting $20 on gas and the risk of getting into an accident on the way.

Edit: Do you know how long it generally takes for the card to ship?

Agreed, buy a Ventra card with $10 and just swipe the card at the terminal either on the bus or train. Use Google Maps to help you navigate a course.

                            • If you can't figure out how to use the cta or metra, you might have some trouble in the academy. You'll fit right in.

I just asked someone right now they said local currency exchanges have one for $5.
