The wagon guys come and grab them. Not bad.
Yes Joe is right, Naperville starts at about 70. Elgin starts at 65, Bartlett and St Charles is in that same neighborhood. But in the south suburbs and Maywood, you'll start at about 50. It is what it is. If they build that casino in the south suburbs like it's rumored to be, hopefully the receipts will justify the neighboring depts getting a raise.

Now it's time to go see Captain America before shift.

Depends on the department. I've paid as little as 10 and the most I have paid was 35.

Oh okay that makes sense why the numbers are all over the place. Yeah definitely nothing to complain about. Very good pay and benefits. The way I see it is if I'm going to get hired somewhere I rather them start me out a little lower now versus be reckless with their budget and lay me off 2 years later because they realize they can't afford my salary but that's just me.

....Then again if they just rent out an office out of that shiny new police station to the area dispatch....that should cover my salary. Only kidding...

Yes, starting and ending is lower, but still, you can eat pretty good with that scratch though. In five years you should be creeping in the nineties with court and other OT.
