Their testing process is stupid. They make you come back three different times to complete their tests. Why not do orient, written, power, all at once?

Yea we are unionized but that does not protect from layoffs. List is expired thats all. If you are not from around here, you can follow the drama in the kane county chronicle.

bball126, not sure how many tests you have taken but every test with the exception of may 2 had you come back 3 seperate times, and if you do all the testing its even more

Thanks to the several people that showed up late to orientation tonight. The candidate pool is a little smaller already.

Lol like 6 people showed up late and one even showed up 40 min late lol. 3 people didnt turn in their apps lol. But I agree with mjw5678, I am on the current list that started in '07 and I only got an oral interview and that was it and I was a former student of the undersheriff. I am still going to try since there is nothing else comming up.

It doesnt matter none of you will see the street when the County is not hiring and is talkin lay offs. You wasted your time just showin up

I know not now, but within 2 years you never know. It's easy to say don't show up when you already have the job.
