Since the pin-head county board members laid off 75% of his staff, the sheriff doesn't really need the cars now. This past weekend, the US Attorney's Office provided a grant for manpower to Alexander County. The multi-agency crew went out from 10:30 PM Saturday til 2:30 AM Sunday; they did a warrant sweep, and a general show of force.

They dont have anywhere to jail the offenders though. They owe a big bill to the jail they used before. Guess there is a place worse than Gallatin County Illinois where the Sheriff gets arrested by the feds and more to come.
