Ammo around Chicago?

I have never tried to buy ammunition around Chicago before and am having trouble. Apparently I can't buy online because of restrictions shipping to the city. I don't know anyone in the suburbs who I can have it shipped to. I would like to get either Winchester or Speer 9mm 124 grain +P. I live on the South side.

You can try Megasports. It will be expenmsive but they may have some. I would also suggest that you try to go to a Dick's or Bass Pro Shop. I know there is a Dicks in Schaumburg (its been awhile since I have been out that way). And I heard there is a new Bass Pro Shop on 55 somewhere. It might be a Gander Mountain but I am not sure.

If you do find some, please post information on where and what calibers they had.

Some walmart stores carry ammo, one in elmhurst on rt 83 carried ammo, or try any gun store close to chicago, like one on harlem and grand forgot the name of it.

I buy mine at Caleba's just over the border on I-80 (I think on Rt 41) or Dick's in Oakbrook Terrace.
