Augusta area departments

Was wondering if anyone knows much about them. Debating over Columbia County SO , Richmond County SO, and any other departments in that area. Any info would be nice , as far as pay, work area, and living.

I work in Augusta and though most of the RCSO officers I know are pretty jam up, the ones I talk to tell me that Columbia County is the place to be. Better pay and better working conditions. Another option is North Augusta which has a great department. PM me if you have any other questions.
