I was a certified correctional probation officer and worked for the department of corrections for 1.8 years. I left to pursue a job overseas under a three year contract. My work contract is up in March 2022, so I'm looking to return to the States and rejoin the department and complete a relevant EOT. But I'm afraid they might have revoked my certification because I left voluntarily before the two years requirement. Florida Statute states you can complete a EOT and rejoin if FDLE approves after four years away from the department. But there's no mention of reemployment before the four years. July 2022 would be exactly three years of separation from the department for me. Anyone have any experience or insight to this?
