According to the recruiter, they do not and will not call anyone.. They only make contact via email. Also FWC office a stated they do not call. Everyone will be contacted via email.
For everyone else reading this, FWC will contact you only via email, that was verified through the FWC office and by recruiters.

I have spoken to another FWC officer and he told me to expect a phone call as well as an email.. some people have already gotten their moving forward phone calls. Really don’t know how your information checks out. I doubt SaltyDog was being dishonest.

Your recruiter can tell you whatever you want. Gabrielle called me and told me I was moving on. Also she told me I’d be receiving my conditional shortly and we scheduled my psych appointment over the phone.

Yes..... I stated someone on here had been called, and they said that's false. That is not their policy. Just be waiting on that email, and good luck....

I’m not lying about anything. Just wanted to do you all a favor by letting you know that I was moving on. My psych is scheduled and my background investigator already reached out. Only thing I was emailed about was the conditional. Everything else was spoken about on the phone.

Did my boater safety like a week and a half ago, the course I took is free from boatus but boy is it long and boring lol.

I’d definitely look into trying to get both completed. I’m pretty sure once hired you’ll have to do them anyways. Plus if for some reason you have to interview again you can mention that you have both and they’ll take note of it.

Completed my Psych exam today. Any advice I can offer to anyone is to make sure you’re well rested and stay relaxed. Mine lasted 4.5 hours including the interview with the psychologist. A LOT of questions haha

Mine was virtual but I believe I heard the lady say that some people were testing at the office

ChristianAB98 won’t know if I’m moving on until I hear back after my background has been completed. I didn’t receive a bad feeling from the psychologist but you never know. They don’t tell you anything after the psych. FWC makes the final decision

Hey everyone! First time posting here. This was my first round trying for the position, I did the interview on the first day available (I believe it was the 20th) Swim test was easy and fun, got a 6:33 on the PAT and definitely could have gone a little harder on it. I felt like the interview went great, I got a lot of smiles and head nods. The only question I didn't have an answer to was when they asked me if I had any questions for them.
Just wondering if anyone besides SaltyDog has heard back yet? Also, for incase I have to try again in the next round, any one who did make it through this time, how did you answer that last question? and any tips for the interview that helped you?

Just think if there was anything not on the website that you wanted an answer to. I asked about K9 and also asked them if they had any advice on how I could better prepare myself for the academy
