Called Lt. Ahlers, he said they’re backed up and are still sending offer letters and that the wait is not due to anything on my end. I was contacted around 5pm.

Just received an email with another conditional offer, with the caveats of not losing state funding and keeping good moral character. It also said a final offer would come in two weeks. Just curious if anyone else got this too, or others are already getting their final offers?

Yes. Got my 3rd as well. Spoke to the office and they said by the end of the week I should have my official final
offer. I’m pretty sure that’s the same for all of us.

Hey everybody. Looks like I'll be joining you at the academy. I also got a "conditional offer" (I think this is my 3rd conditional offer) with my position number and I will be going to Collier County which was my number one pic. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Ccrowe I got a call from the Lt. last Tuesday where he offered me the position and got my sizes for uniforms. Then this morning I got the email that had my position # and post assignment and it also said that I would be getting another email in a couple weeks with all of the details and a formal offer. Also said start date for the academy is 0800, Jan 19.

When Lt.Ahlers called he said he wasn't sure yet he just reiterated that since it's a state agency they can send me anywhere and asked if I was okay with that. And then he just asked what size shirt and pants I wear and if I was right or left handed. In the conditional offer is says " Position number to be determined in determined county" So 'm not sure when I'll know that.

JGE719 I’m in the same situation. Lt. Ahlers told me they were going to do an update to the county vacancies and priorities in 45 days and that a handful of us would have to wait til then to get our assignment. Should be mid to late February.

It’s like being a teacher, you have to really care, because you go through a lot to get there just to live below the poverty line.

There's a few of us in the same boat my friend. Just be patient and hope for the best, thats all we can do at this point.
