Did any of you get the second conditional with the county you’d go to?

My second conditional offer did not contain a county. Did yours? Mine was almost identical to the first one, saying that as long as I pass the medical portion, drug test, and all that they would send out a final offer next, which I imagine would contain the county.

No mine didn’t. Sounds the same as yours but was just curious how they would wait this long but the whole process is taking forever

Any one have any ideas how the fwc academy is going to be compared to fhp or any other paramilitary academy? I'm curious about what the PT will be like. Forrest Gumping it for miles and miles or???? Is it a more relaxed academy or are we starting some hard-core parkour? I havnt found much info on it.

Academy is all CrossFit style workouts. If you use the search bar on the forums there was an individual that was posting daily workouts while attending the academy. A forum from a couple of years ago

Mine showed up yesterday, super easy going guy. He had a couple questions but it seemed to go pretty well. He didn't say if I passed it or not. So now I'm stressing even more lol. Just waiting for that final offer now.

Hey everyone, I haven’t posted before, but thought I’d join in since we are close to the end. I just got all my medical and other items sent in this week, and Gabby sent me a confirmation email that it all looked good. My BI also came to my house and met with me. Super nice guy and had some helpful info about the academy. He said we should be getting final offers in a couple of weeks and that the final offer would include the county that it was for. He also said he heard talks they are going to try and start the academy in December. Best of luck to all as we finish up!

It wouldn't surprise me considering we are already done with the medical. But also it would be odd for them to start an academy right before Christmas and near years

It doesn't seem like there is any rhyme or reason as to the order in which they are moving people along in the process. After the interviews I did hear anything at all for a couple of months. But shortly after I heard from my BI for the first time was when I received the medical paperwork and 2nd conditional. Whereas you completed the psych eval and background shortly after the interviews, but haven't heard anything since then. It's at the point where I think pretty much everyone still in will most likely get the job, as long as everything checks out medically. They're probably just doing the medical portion in two groups or something.

I think they gave you all your medical stuff because your background was still being processed. But I have no idea just merely speculation. Academy is in January so we still have 2 months

Yes my BI told me that his home visit was his last step and he was sending in my report that same day. That was the 26th. I agree Colton, it doesn’t seem to have any reasoning other than just doing small groups at a time.

Same with me big pay cut and a dream job but that’s a hard decision with a big pay cut and they don’t get raises besides the yearly like 3%

Coltoncolton2 I haven’t received my email but I know that I will be receiving it when they send them out. Which should be this coming week. The report date should be on our final offers. Last I heard they were planning on January 5 but that could’ve changed

Not disagreeing with you. I was checking if there was actually reliable information.
If anyone else, who is in my situation, has news I’d like to hear from them- that being those who have already received their second conditional offer, completed the medical, the urinalysis and fingerprint screening and all that went with that and met that deadline, and have received a verification email that you have completed the entire process and are ready to begin the academy.
If someone who is at that at point had heard real info, please let me know.

All I know is also what my BI told me, which is we should hear a couple weeks after Oct 29th deadline, and he even said he had heard they were thinking of starting the class in December. He also admitted he didn’t know anything for sure. Sounds like we are all pretty in the dark still.

It is, but from what I understand it’s actually an improvement from how they were doing it pre-pandemic

Yeah definitely good info. I would also think that if any of us had a problem with our medical paperwork they would have told us by now. I wonder if they are still figuring who will go to which county?

I wouldn’t buy anything yet. They should provide a list of items needed for the academy with final.

Thanks, but I’m very experienced with attending training and schools- I called FWC to make sure these were approved boots.
I think you posted that you didn’t get a second offer- I wouldn’t buy anything in that situation yet either.

I was hoping they'd let me wear my girlfriends UGGS. Dang... now I gotta break out my old EMS work boots. If memory serves correct theyre an old pair of the bates zip ups. Probably one of the better tactical boots, in my humbe opinion.

Pretty sure you’ve said this before and when asked where you got this information you said you weren’t supposed to have it and you could only say that someone at FWC let you know.
Now it’s was Gabby on 11/3?
Anyone else? Or anyone with a cleared background, second offer, and has met the deadlines for all requirements?

Oh so you can comprehend and read congratulations. Yes I’ve said it before and I didn’t say that it was gabby then due to the fact that I didn’t want all of you on the forum calling and asking her if it’s true. You need to be patient. Your process is done. Their are still people like myself that have passed background/psych and haven’t had a chance to complete medical due to backgrounds still being completed.
