They probably won’t, they’re on a time crunch as it is trying to fill a January academy class so they’re probably gonna be filling those slots as they process through candidates. That’s what I would imagine. They sure are staggering the process though it seems seeing as most of didn’t hear news until this week.Last edited by MHenry_FWC; 09-02-2021, 10:39 PM.

Hey y’all, so I received a call from my BI tonight! Never received initial email. Moving forward through the process and was asked to provide some basic info for him to conduct the investigation.
Hope this helps for those of you who haven’t heard anything, they’re still calling people and sending qualified candidates through the BI.Comment

That’s what I’m not understanding about this process it seems like the people that were in the first group/higher interview score received a conditional. My CO was typed up on 08/05 and I received it on 08/09. I’m wondering if you guys being processed now are being processed because some have failed psych/background -
Yeah, I'm not sure. The way he made it sound when I was on the phone with him was that they were staggering reaching out to candidates. With the first group being the one you were in at beginning of August. He didn't say anything about the groups being sorted by interview scores but they could have been.
He just called, said I scored in some of the top interviews and the agency wants to process my BI, and that he sent me an email with some info to fill out for him to start the BI. -
SaltyDog, I think your right. I think the top 65 got a conditional like you did. As people have turned it down, failed or whatever reason, they are moving on to the next. When your dealing with a hundred or so candidate's, it can be a little hard to coordinate emails before a BI calls.

So I just met my BI tonight. He called me as I was coming home from a workout trying to locate my apartment building. Wanted to do a neighbor check but seeing as apartment living you never really know your neighbors, he was okay with me just giving him our property manager's contact info so he could call (check if rent was ever late, noise complaints, etc.).
He told me that they're trying to process basically everyone through their psych and backgrounds by end of this week, next week at the earliest. He thought it was confusing that I hadn't received a call to schedule my psych yet so he's following up on that. Also told me they've already had a few fail out of process due to their psych results.

My BI has never mentioned first group vs second group to me. Not saying I don't believe y'all or think it's true but he's always just said they're processing top interviewers backgrounds right now. Some have failed psych but they still have enough in running to fill academy. If more people fail out though, then he said they're gonna start drawing more from lower scoring interviews.
Don't know if he's referring to people who got the "your application has been put on hold email" or what. Just passing along what I was told. -
Well the first group of applicants would be the top 65 candidates from interview. But you probably have moved into that group now due to people from top 65 failing. If you care to know you can ask your BI what your number is. My BI told me mine. She also told me she doesn’t agree with the numbering method they have chosen to do this year but oh well

Good news and bad new for me gents...Getting screwed by the "green weenie" after so many years. Been chasing my DD214 for almost a month now and finally made contact with HQMC and have to fill out another form to get it sent to me. So I'm guessing I'm in "LIMBO" is why I havent heard anything. I took my psych eval back on the 20thComment

Myself and Richardg93 took ours on 08/18 and still no word back I wouldn’t worry that much yet. This whole entire process we are in is being done completely different than before due to COVID. Us 3 are currently in the hardest part of the process waiting to hear back after psych is tough. It will mess with your head. We just gotta hang in there. Nothing else in this process left for us to control everything is out of our hands now. They probably won’t send medical information until closer to October if I had to guess. Just due to January academy

An officer called me today and said I was flagged because the psychologist said "you're dealing with life events that made you unqualified" I don't know what kind of **** that is, I'm not dealing with anything and I certainly didn't tell Dr. Perez anything that would make me "unqualified " this hiring process is absolute BSComment
