      Where is he? He's being a cop's cop, showing up at calls that most Sheriff's and Chiefs would never be at, and doing what he can with a county (notice I said county, not department) that is going down the tubes.

            Well thanks to the PBA we got those raises...We still are lagging behind in the pay scale...

              What should the pay be then? Doesn't SCSO start at 33?

                Yeah SCSO may be at 33 but they dont have the problems that OC has. Many PD/SO in the area pay much better have better working conditions. OC is a great agency but the county needs to through more money and more officers thier way. However, that goes deeper than the sheriff, from what I have seen and heard of Beary he does take care of his people and is out in the field alot.
